The subject says it all. I'm in the 123 weight class and going for an 1100 total at the 2015 Arnold. I'll be posting my workouts, progress pics/videos, questions and whatever in this log. Feel free to comment, critique, or offer advice along the way. Thanks!

AWESOME!!!

Real proud of you brother. You have a lot of our support and I'm sure other brother/sisters will be there to root you on.

If I'm there I may smack you around to get you angrier....Ask POB, he hates me before he hits a PR lol.

Good luck man. Your going to crush it!! I know you are competing in the 123s but what do you walk around at? You look a lot bigger in that pic.

Deadlifts: 355x5, 355x5, 335x6 (with belt, but not tight; no chalk)
Deficit Deadlifts (2 1/2"): 265x5 x3 sets
Speed Squat: 165x2 x6 sets (one minute break)
Hammer Low Row Machine: 100PSx8 x2 sets
Hammer High Row Machine: 120PSx6 x2 sets
T Bar Machine: 90x6
BB Shrug: 135x15, 185x10 (with straps), 205x10 (with straps)

Today's goal was to replicate a recent past workout, and to test new weight on some of the accessories. I was feeling good enough to go for a slightly higher weight for my 5 rep deadlift sets (previous 5 rep set best was 145). Also had another powerlifter at the gym doing deads along side of me, so that got me fired up a bit, heh. Grip was pretty well spent on the final rep of each set. But I was locking out pretty well.

Oh no, lol, I don't know if I take the getting hit approach before a lift. I tend to really sharpen the concentration to such an extent that background noise fades away, and I feel like I could almost move the weight with my mind. :p But I'll let you hit me afterwards, heh!

My training weight typically is right around 126-128 at the most. I weighed myself 24 hours before my competition and came in at 119 and some change. And weighed myself again the morning of the meet (after having ate and hydrated fairly well) and came in a smidge over 123 (still in the 123 weight class though). But yeah, people at the gym think I look like I'm in the 140 range - which I take as a compliment.
