Do you feel stronger or weaker?
Do you plan a deload or just go till your burnt?
is a week enough or do you need longer?

I dont deload on a planned basis. I run westside and I will conjugate every microcycle. If I feel like I am breaking down too much or have a stretch where I am plagued with injuries, I will back off the max effort work and use a repetition day. But typically, conjugating a lift moves me forward in such a way that I dont feel "chewed up."

Well the only time I normally deload would be the week before a meet. So I would say I come back ready to smash some PR'S

Personally, I think having planned/scheduled deloads have helped me stay more injury free than in the past. My training is heavy, light, heavy, deload, repeat...

I just pretty much base my deloads off of how I feel and how much I feel I need to recover. My deloads tend to still be decent volume but just lighter weight. It has really helped me out. Sometimes a whole week but sometimes a few days, or even just a Deload for certain muscle groups and not others.

I usually feel the same but have set PRs after taking 4 or 5 days completely off.

thats what I was expecting after this last deload but seems the opposite, I'm weak as hell.. I think I just pushed to hard for to long until I couldn't take it anymore, I suspect if I plan for it and don't let myself crash so hard maybe I could come back stronger... I will always plan a deload from now on..

How's your sleep been? Calories? How do you feel when you wake up?

I know when I'm pushing it a bit and back off.
For me, it seems to be every 4 or 5 weeks.
Then I take the weights down for 4 or 5 days and come back and hit it hard again.
