A TIP-OFF from customs officers has led to the arrest of a 27-year-old Toowoomba man on charges of importing testosterone.
Police raided the man's Harristown home yesterday morning.
Toowoomba Criminal Investigation Branch acting officer-in-charge Tony Morris said items including vials, packaging, labels and syringes were found in the home as well as testosterone.
Police will allege the man imported testosterone twice in the past several weeks.
They were informed by a referral from the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Morris said the drug arrived in powdered form in Australia.
He said there was evidence the powder was being transformed into liquid form and bottled into vials.
