Chomsky's Manufacturing Consent

I'll never get into fiction. If I want to rot my brain with false stories I'll watch tv. I read to acquire knowledge and perspective.

Don't underestimate science fiction, it often becomes science fact.......genetic engineering, cars that can fly, jet packs, robots, cell phones, robotic limbs, space travel, touch screen technology, etc. A lot of good science fiction is based on what can/could, will be in the future based on what we're looking at trying to develop now.
